Appointments
​
Appointments are available from 8.30am (7.30am on Tuesdays) to 5.30pm Mondays-Fridays and 9am to 12pm on Saturdays with our highly skilled and compassionate doctors, supported by our practice nurses.
​
A standard appointment (up to 15min) is suitable for 1-2 issues. Please book a longer appointment if you have complex or multiples issues to discuss with the doctor.
​
Appointments are required for all repeat prescriptions and referrals. This enables your doctor to monitor your health conditions, ensure your referrals are appropriate and up to date and ensure that your medications are working well for you and not causing any adverse effects.
Consultation Fees
​
Coral Tree Drive Family Medical Practice is committed to providing personalised, comprehensive healthcare for you and your family. We take the time to Unfortunately, your medicare rebate covers only part of the cost of providing the quality health care that you and your family deserve. For this reason, gap fees apply to all consultations including face-to-face, telehealth/telephone and results & recall consultations.

Consultation fees are payable in full at the time of consultation by cash, credit card or EFTPOS. Late payment fees may apply if fees are not paid at the time of consultation. Where possible, we will process your Medicare rebate claim at the time of your consultation. Alternatively, we can provide you with a receipt so that you can claim your medicare rebate yourself.

Consultation fees vary depending on the time and complexity of the consultation. Fees are charged at the discretion of your treating doctor. If the time required to discuss your medical issues is longer than a standard appointment, a longer consult will be charged. Additional fees may apply for procedures and other services (e.g. travel vaccinations, iron infusions, wound care). If you’re not sure, please ask your doctor.

Coral Tree Drive Family Medical Practice offers discounted fees to patients who hold a valid Commonwealth Health Care Card or Commonwealth Pensioner Concession Cards (blue). Concession cards must be presented at the time of your consultation if you wish to claim the discount on your consultation fees. Please note that our doctors do not offer discounts for after-hours consultations (appointment commencing before 9am or commencing after 5.30pm and consultations on Saturdays at anytime).

Cancellation Fees
​
If you are unable to attend your scheduled appointment, we request that you provide 4 hours notice of the cancellation. Cancellation fees may apply if you fail to attend your appointment or do not provide adequate notice of the cancellation.

Work Cover and Insurance Medicals
​
All insurance, workers compensation and motor vehicle accident patients are required to pay their accounts at the time of consultation until a letter of liability is produced from their insurance company. When an acceptance letter is provided with all details, we will be able to directly invoice the insurance company on your behalf.

Overseas Patients
​
If you are not eligible for Reciprocal Health Care Agreements, you will need to pay for the full cost of your medical care at Coral Tree Drive Family Medical Practice. You may be able to claim the costs from your private health or travel insurance.

​
Medicolegal and Insurance reports
​
A Medicare rebate is not available for preparation of most medicolegal reports such as medical reports for legal purposes, RTA Commercial Driving Medical Examinations, Pre– Employment Medicals and Worker’s compensation/ Insurance medical. These services are privately billed and will attract GST.

Treatment Room & Procedure Fees
​
There is a nominal charge for medical consumable items (i.e. dressings) and for the nurse assisting in some procedures such as minor surgical procedures, sutures, Implanon insertion. Your doctor will explain any additional costs to you and obtain your consent before undertaking any procedure or treatment.
